The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has announced its 2024 recruitment for the positions of Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts). The Consultant role requires a Chartered Accountant with at least 10 years of experience, including 4 years in government or public sector organizations, while the Business Development Manager position requires an MBA in Finance or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in finance and accounts.
The age limit for the Consultant is 50 years, and 45 years for the Business Development Manager. The salary for the Consultant ranges between ₹1,45,000 and ₹1,80,000 per month, while the Business Development Manager will earn ₹70,000. Qualifications Details for APEDA Recruitment 2024
Consultant (Finance & Accounts)
- Chartered Accountant
- Minimum 10 years of experience including 4 years experience of working in Government Departments/ PSUs.
Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts)
- MBA (Finance) or equivalent from Recognized University/ Institution or having completed CA from ICAI.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, accounts and audit matters in a senior / responsible position after acquiring the essential qualification mentioned above.
- Relevant experience with Government Ministries and/ or PSUs
Age Limit for APEDA Recruitment 2024
- Upper age limit of 50 years for the position of Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and 45 years for Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts)
Pay Scale for APEDA Recruitment 2024
- Consultant (Finance & Accounts): Rs. 1,45,000/- to Rs. 1,80,000/-
- Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts): Rs. 70,000/-
- Travel Allowance (TA)/Daily Allowance (DA): Both the Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and the Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts) may be required to travel across India.
- When on official travel, they will be entitled to TA/DA as per the rates applicable to officials at Pay Level 10 of the Central Government.
Key Role & Responsibilities For APEDA Recruitment 2024
- To handle matters related to Budget & Finance matters of APEDA including financial schemes
- To liaise with Ministry of Commerce and Industry and nodal departments and other stakeholders in these matters
- To organize meetings, presentations etc. as may be required from time to time
- Any other matter as may be assigned by the competent authority from time to time
General terms and conditions For APEDA Recruitment 2024
- APEDA may require the Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts) to submit a Statement of Good Health from a recognized physician prior to commencement of work in any offices.
- The engagement as Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts) is subject to verification of documents related to educational qualification and experience. If any information / documents submitted by him/her are found false / wrong at any stage, his / her engagement will be terminated immediately and appropriate action will be taken against him / her as per rules. It is the responsibility of the candidates to provide proof in support of their claim proving any specific course as equivalent to the essential educational qualification prescribed.
- The Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts) will be governed by the Official Secrets Act, 1923, as amended from time to time and will not disclose to any unauthorized person(s) any information/data that come to their notice during the period of their engagement as Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts) in APEDA. All such information/records/ papers/software/ emails etc. will be property of APEDA. An undertaking to that effect shall be given at the time of joining.
- The Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts) shall not advertise or otherwise make public for the purpose of commercial advantage that it has contractual relationship with APEDA. He / she shall not, in any manner whatsoever, use the name, emblem or official seal of APEDA or any abbreviation of the name of APEDA, in connection with business or otherwise without the prior written permission of the competent authority of APEDA.
- The Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Business Development Manager (Finance & Accounts) shall be expected to conduct himself / herself in accordance with the rules and regulations of APEDA.
- He / she will be expected to demonstrate high moral character, integrity, secrecy of office and dedication to work while discharging his / her duties.
- In case his / her services are not found satisfactory or found to be in conflict with the interest of the APEDA, his/her services will be terminated forthwith, without any notice period or compensation.
