The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) is sponsoring a research project titled "Sustainability of Tanks and Water Users' Participation for Transformation of Tribal Area: A Study with Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) in Select Districts of Tamil Nadu." They are recruiting for two purely temporary positions: a Research Associate and a Field Investigator.

The Research Associate position, lasting seven months from June to December 2024, offers a monthly salary of Rs. 47,000 and requires a Master's degree in relevant social sciences with a first-class grade and NET/SLET qualification. Responsibilities include overseeing all project activities, literature review, fieldwork preparation and execution, data analysis, and reporting.

The Field Investigator position, lasting six months from July to December 2024, offers a monthly salary of Rs. 20,000 and requires similar qualifications with a focus on fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and reporting. Research Associate:

• Masters' Degree in Rural Development/Rural Management/Rural Studies/Rural Development Studies/ Any Relevant Social Science Discipline Secured I Class with NET/SLET/Any relevant National level Test.
• Ph. Ds will be given preferences

Field Investigator:

• Masters' Degree in Rural Development/Rural Management/Rural Studies/Rural Development Studies/Any Relevant Social Science Discipline Secured I Class.
• Those cleared NET/SLET/Any relevant National level Test will be given Preference
