The Department of Media Sciences at Anna University, Chennai, is inviting applications for the temporary position of Production Assistant for Anna Community Radio.

Candidates must have a graduation degree with 5 years of experience in mainstream media or a degree/diploma in journalism/mass communication with at least 3 years of experience. Proficiency in Tamil and English is required. Retired production staff from Doordarshan/All India Radio with innovative production methods and content creation knowledge are preferred.

The salary for the position is Rs.30,000 per month. Interested candidates should submit their applications by April 29, 2024, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The selected candidate will be appointed for a one-year tenure on a purely temporary basis.

Qualification for Anna University Recruitment 2024

• Graduation in any field from a recognized university / institute with 5 years of experience in any mainstream media (or)
• Degree / PG / Diploma in journalism / Mass Communication / relevant field from recognized university / institute with at least 3 years of experience in any mainstream media
• Language Proficiency: Tamil & English
• Good knowledge in programme production both audio / video
• Retired Production Staff from Doordarshan / All India Radio
• Innovative methods in productions
• Sound knowledge in content creation
