The Andaman & Nicobar Administration is seeking applications for the position of Planning Officer on a deputation basis for the Zilla Parishad, North & Middle Andaman. The post falls under General Central Service Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) (Ministerial) classification, with a scale of pay ranging from Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600 in PB-2 (Pre-revised) to Level-7 in Pay Matrix Rs. 44900-142400 (Revised).
Eligible candidates should be officers of the A & N Administration or appointed to services under A&N Administration from existing local authorities. They should either hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department or have three years of service in the Grade after appointment on a regular basis.
Applications must be forwarded through the parent cadre to the Secretary (RD/Panchayats), A&N Administration, Port Blair – 744101, along with certified copies of the ACRs for the last five years, Integrity Certificate, and Vigilance Clearance. Qualification for Andaman and Nicobar Administration Recruitment 2024
By Deputation: Officers of A & N Administration(including any officer appointed to services under A&N Administration from amongst persons employed by the existing local authority:
a) i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/deptt. (or)
ii) With three years service in the Grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 5500- 9000/Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200 in PB-2 (Pre-revised)/Level-6 in Pay Matrix Rs.(35400- 112400) (Revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department. (and)
b) Having three years experience in formulation of Annual Plan/Five Year Plan and scrutiny, consolidation, evaluation and monitoring of UT/PRI Plans Schemes, maintenance of data, documents and other records to developmental plans/Schemes.

The pay scale for the Andaman and Nicobar Administration Recruitment 2024 is as follows:
- Pre-revised scale of pay: Rs. 6500-200-10500 (for initial years) / Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600 in PB-2
- Revised scale of pay: Level-7 in Pay Matrix Rs. 44900-142400

Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application
