Allahabad High Court Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Practice: An advocate candidate must be a person not already in the service of the Union or of State and has been for not less than seven years an advocate having continuous practice and only such advocates shall be permitted to appear in the examination process who have been engaged independently for conducting not less than 30 cases (other than bunch cases) for Unreserved and EWS categories and 24 cases (other than bunch cases) for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes in the preceding three years, from the year of publication of advertisement for recruitment, before any Court. The certificate of such independent engagement may be issued by District & Sessions Judge of the District or Registrar General/Registrar of High Courts or Secretary General of Supreme Court, as the case may be.

Allahabad High Court Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

• A candidate must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 45 years as on 01.01.2024, i.e. the candidate must have been born on or after 02.01.1979 and not later than 01.01.1989.
• Age limit shall be higher by 03 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/PwD category candidates belonging to the State of U.P. only (a candidate of SC/ST/OBC/PwD category must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 48 years as on 01.01.2024, i.e. the candidate must have been born on or after 02.01.1976 and not later than 01.01.1989).

Examination Fee:

• Rs.1400/- For General/OBC/EWS category candidates
• Rs. 1200/- For SC/ST category candidates belonging to the State of U.P. only
• Rs.750/- For PwD category candidates of General/OBC/EWS category belonging to the State of U.P. only
• RS.500/- For PwD category candidates of the General SC/ST category belonging to the State of U.P. only
• Rs. 1400/- For all the candidates belonging to the States other than the State of U.P.

How to Apply for Allahabad High Court Recruitment 2024

• The detailed Instructions for the candidates/How to Apply, Application Form, Syllabus, mode of submission of Fee and other details is available on the official website of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad i.e. (www.allahabadhighcourt.in).
• The application form shall be submitted online (www.allahabadhighcourt.in) along with uploading of a photograph & signature and payment of fee from 15 March 2024 to 30th April 2024 till 23:59 hours after which the link will be disabled. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted.
• The hard copy of the online submitted application forms may be downloaded/printed up to 07th May 2024 till 23:59 hrs. In addition to the submission of the online application, the downloaded hard copy of the application form along with requisite documents/certificates, as mentioned in the Instructions, are to be submitted.
