AIIMS Rishikesh is currently seeking applications for two Project Technician positions, to be based in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Candidates should have a 10th-grade science education plus a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) and at least two years of experience in sample collection and handling relevant to the project's scope.

Applicants must possess a valid driving license and own a two-wheeler. The positions offer a salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. These temporary roles are contingent on project funding and approval by competent authorities, and the positions may be withdrawn or modified at any time.

General terms and conditions for AIIMS Rishikesh Recruitment 2024

• The number of posts may vary.
• These positions are meant for temporary projects or coterminous with the project.
• Engagement of the above advertised staff will depend on the availability of funds, functional requirements and approval of the competent authority. Therefore, we are not committed to fill up the advertised project human resource positions and the process is liable to be withdrawn / cancelled/ modified at any time.
• The rates of the emoluments / stipend shown in the advertisement may vary according to the sanction of the funding agency of the project.
• Cut-off age limit will be as on the date of last date of submission of the applications.
• Age relaxation will be as per ICMR guidelines.
• Separate application should be submitted for each position. Allotment of project to the successful candidate will be decided by the competent authority at its discretion.
• Qualification and experience should be in relevant field as mentioned in advertisement and experience should be of Institute of repute/ hospitals/ NABL accredited labs.
• Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
• Mere filling the essential qualification doesn’t guarantee selection.
• Persons already in regular time scale service under any government organization/ department are not eligible to apply.
• No TA/ DA will be paid to attend the interview / personal discussion and candidates have to arrange transport/ accommodation themselves.
• ICMR and / AIIMS, Rishikesh reserves rights to consider or reject any application / candidature.
• Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature.
• The persons engaged on Project Human Resource Positions cannot be permitted to register for Ph.D., due to time constrains.
• The persons engaged on human resource project positions will normally be posted atthe study site as per scope of project; however, they can be posted to any other sites in the interest of research work.
• They are liable to serve in any part of the country.
• The persons engaged on Project Human Resource Positions shall not have any claim on a regular post in ICMR or AIIMS, Rishikesh or in any of its institutes or in any other government organizations and their project term with breaks or without breaks in any or multiple projects will not confer any right for further assignment or transfer to any other project or appointment / absorption/ regularization of service in funding agency or in ICMR or AIIMS, Rishikesh.
