The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, has announced a recruitment drive for the positions of Project Technical Support - III and Data Entry Operator (DEO) under a temporary contract.
The recruitment involves two vacancies, with the Project Technical Support - III role offering a salary of Rs. 28,000 per month plus HRA, and the DEO position offering a consolidated salary of Rs. 29,200 per month.
Candidates for the Project Technical Support - III role should possess a relevant three-year graduate degree with three years of experience or a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, preferably with prior research experience in medical imaging.
The DEO position requires a 12th pass with three years of research experience and optimal typing speed. The walk-in interview is scheduled for September 11, 2024, at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
Interested candidates must attend between 09:00 AM and 10:30 AM with the prescribed application form, educational and experience certificates, and a passport-size photo. The contract is purely temporary and does not entitle candidates to claim regular or permanent positions.

Qualifications Details for AIIMS Recruitment 2024
- Project Technical Support - III: Three years graduate in relevant subject / field + Three Years Experience OR PG in relevant subject / field (such as Physics, Mathematics,). For Engineering /IT/ CS-First Class Four Years Graduate Degree + Three Years Experience. Previous Experience in Research (Medical Imaging).
- DEO: 12th Pass with Three Years experience in research works with optimal typing speed. Previous Experience in research activity with DEO role.
Pay Scale for AIIMS Recruitment 2024
- Technical Support - III: Rs. 28,000 per month plus HRA as admissible.
- Data Entry Operator (DEO): Rs. 29,200 per month (consolidated).
Procedure Process for AIIMS Recruitment 2024
It is the candidates' responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed qualifications and experience. If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her proves false or if he/she is found to have wilfully suppressed any material or information, he/she will be liable for removal from service and also such other action as the Government/ ICMR may deem necessary.
Even after qualifying in the selection process, the candidate may be disqualified during document verification if he/she does not fulfil essential eligibility criteria. The above position will be filled purely on a temporary CONTRACT appointment basis.
These Appointments will not vest any right for the candidate to claim for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS, Bhubaneswar/ICMR, or continued contractual appointment. Expiry of Contract: The contract will automatically expire on completion 36 months or earlier in case of withdrawal of support by funding agency.
The contractual appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days' notice or salary in lieu thereof. The rates of emoluments/stipend shown in this advertisement are as per the guidelines and as per the sanction.
Walk-in Details for for AIIMS Recruitment 2024
- Applications are invited in the prescribed format attached herewith for the following purely temporary contractual basis for the posts of “Project Technical Support – III” sanctioned under the ICMR project entitled “Creation of Gold standard Medical imaging datasets of dural based lesions treated with primary Gamma knife radiosurgery or Microsurgery for developing Artificial Intelligence tools.”, under Dr RN SAHU, Professor (PI), AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
- The date for Walk-In-Interview is 11Th Sep 2024 (Wednesday). Interested candidates may appear for the walk-in interview at the Seminar Room, Department of Neurosurgery, 2nd floor, OPD Block, AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
- The candidates should come for the interview with the duly filled application form (as per the prescribed format), photocopies of educational qualifications and experience certificates, and a passport-size photo. The documents will be verified by a scrutiny committee on the same day, and only the eligible candidates will be called to attend the interview.
- The reporting time to appear in the interview shall be 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM on 11Th Sep 2024. Candidates reaching after 10:30 AM shall not be considered for the interview
