AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2024
AIIMS Jammu is recruiting for 86 positions of Senior Residents/Senior Demonstrators, with a salary of Rs. 67,700. Candidates must hold a postgraduate medical degree (MD/DNB) or, for non-medical roles, an M.Sc. with a Ph.D. in the relevant field. The upper age limit is 45 years, and the last date to apply is October 3, 2024.
Application fees are Rs. 1,500 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST/EWS candidates, while PwBD candidates are exempt. Selection will be based on interviews. Interested candidates can apply online at aiimsjammu.edu.in, with applications opening on September 20, 2024.

Qualification for AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2024
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Anatomy from a recognized university/Institute/orequivalent qualification thereto. For Non-Medical Candidates (Senior Demonstrators): a. The Candidate should possess M.Sc./ M.Biotech Degree in the subject concerned; and b. Ph.D in the subject concerned / allied subject from a recognized University / Institute.
- For Medical Candidates (Senior Residents): A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Biochemistry from a recognized university/Institute/orequivalent qualification thereto. For Non-Medical Candidates (Senior Demonstrators): a. The Candidate should possess M.Sc./M.Biotech. Degree in the subject concerned, and b. Ph.D in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University/Institute.
- A Postgraduate medical degree viz., MS/DNB in General Surgery / E.N.T / Orthopedics or M.Ch/DNB (Plastic Surgery) from any University recognized by MCI/NMC.
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Medicine/Paediatrics OR DM/DNB (Cardiology) from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto.
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MS/DNB in General Surgery OR M.Ch./DNB(CTVS) from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Community Medicine from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto.
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Dermatology & Venereology from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto.
- A post graduate medical degree viz MD/DNB in Medicine / Paediatrics or DM/DNB (Endocrinology & Metabolism) from a recognized university / Institute / or equivalent qualification thereto.
- A post graduate medical degree viz MD/DNB (family medicine) from a recognized university/ Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto.
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Forensic Medicine from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto.
- A post graduate medical degree viz MD/DNB in General Medicine or Paediatrics or DM/DNB (Gastroenterology) from a recognized university / Institute / or equivalent qualification thereto
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Medicine/Pulmonary medicine/Chest Medicine/Respiratory Medicine OR DM/DNB (Pulmonary Medicine) from a recognized university/Institute
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD/DNB in Radio-Diagnosis from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto.
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MS/DNB in General Surgery or M.Ch/DNB in G.I. Surgery from a recognized university/Institute/or equivalent qualification thereto.
- A postgraduate medical degree viz., MD in Emergency Medicine or MD in Medicine or MS in General Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Pay Scale for AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2024
a. For Medical candidates Rs.18,750 + 6600 (Grade Pay)+NPA plus other usual Allowances or revised pay scale as per 7th CPC as applicable. In the Pay of Level 11 of Pay Matrix (Prerevised pay Band-3 with the entry Pay of Rs. 67700/-.
b. For Non-Medical candidates M.Sc. with Ph.D. Rs. 56100/- in level 10 under 7th CPC plus other usual Allowances
Age Limit for AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2024
The upper age limit for applying these posts is 45 years as on 03.10.2024 (Thursday). Age relaxation will not be applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for UR vacancies.
Application Fee for AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2024
Rs. 1500/- (Non-refundable) for General/OBC category candidates, Rs 1000/- (non-refundable) for SC/ST/EWS category. No fee for PwBD candidates.
Selection Procedure for AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2024
- The selection of candidates will be based purely on interview basis. The Interview will carry 100 marks. The merit list(s) for all categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC/UR/EWS shall be prepared on the basis of interview marks only.
- All Tie cases (more than one candidate having same marks) will be resolved on the basis of date of birth. Older candidate (earlier date of birth) will be ranked above younger candidate.
