AIIMS Bhubaneswar is conducting walk-in interviews for the position of Junior Research Fellow on September 10, 2024. The role requires a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc.) with a minimum of 55% marks in Life Sciences or related fields and a valid GATE score or NET-JRF.
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 35,960 per month according to DST-SERB norms.This position is part of a funded project and is not eligible for permanent employment with AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The appointment will end with the project’s completion, and there is no obligation for permanent placement.
The candidate’s performance will be reviewed, and the fellowship may be terminated with one month’s notice if performance is unsatisfactory. Interested candidates should attend the walk-in interview with the completed application form, original certificates, and a passport-sized photo.

- M.Sc. in Life Sciences and allied subjects/Physiology/Bio-Medical Sciences/Zoology/Biochemistry with at least 55% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examinations.

- Fellowship of Rs. 35,960 consolidated per month as per DST-SERB norms

- These are tenure vacancies under funded project and are not employment on AIIMS Bhubaneswar pay roll.
- Employment will be automatically terminated upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS, Bhubaneswar or Principal Investigator.
- Also, the candidates have no right to claim permanent employment based on this job.
- AIIMS, BBSR deserves the right to terminate the fellowship with a prior notice of 1 month if performance in not satisfactory.
