AIIMS Bhubaneswar has released a recruitment notification for 133 Senior Resident positions, with an upper age limit of 45 years. Eligible candidates must have completed their Post Graduate degree or be in the final stage of their MS/MD exam, provided they have the necessary documentation at the interview. Medical registration is mandatory.

The total tenure for the Senior Residency is three years, and those who have completed three years under the Central Residency Scheme cannot apply. Applications from candidates in government institutions must be submitted through proper channels, and all applicants must provide a valid physical disability certificate if applicable.

Qualifications Details For AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2024

• The candidates who have already completed the Post Graduate degree are eligible to apply for the post. The Candidates appearing in their final MS/MD exam are also eligible to apply, provided they have a pass result/ provisional degree certificate at the time of the interview. • Total tenure of Senior Residency (Non-Academic) is 3 years. This includes any period spent as a Senior Resident (Non-Academic) in the same specialty in any other teaching institution prior to joining AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.
• The candidates who are in service in any Govt. Hospital/ Institutions are required to submit their application through proper channel only. The candidates will not be permitted for Interview if they fail to produce no objection certificate on the day of interview during scrutiny of documents.
• They may be allowed provisionally only if they produce a certificate of informing to the HOD/Head of Organization of Institute in which they are employed. If it is brought to the notice of authorities at any stage that the candidate had not submitted application through proper channel, then candidature will stand cancelled and in case of selected candidate, services will be terminated immediately
• 4% seats are reserved on a horizontal basis. However, the candidate shall be allowed to join only after medical fitness certification by duly constituted Medical Board. The candidate must possess a valid document certifying his/her physical disability is conforming to judgment of Supreme Court of India. The disability certificate should be signed by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals/Institutions & countersigned by Medical Superintendent. The constitution of the Medical Board will include consultants from related disciplines.

Application Fees For Recruitment 2024

• General/OBC Category : Rs. 1500/- with transaction Charges as applicable.
• SC/ST/EWS Category : Rs. 1200/- with transaction Charges as applicable.
• PWBD Category : No application Fees

Selection Process For Recruitment 2024

• The candidate can apply for more than one post (Maximum 03 departments) out of the enlisted Departments as per Annexure-1 separately but, they have to apply separately for different posts/Departments. However, the candidate will have to deposit application fee separately for each post. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the Interview. Any paid fee can’t be claimed later.
• Written examination will only be conducted when number of applicants are more than three times than the number of posts advertised.
• However, there will be no written test for the post against which less number of applications are received than the vacancies.
• The Executive Director, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar will have the discretion to decide for which post written examination to be conducted and for which post there will be no written examination. The decision thereof will be final.
• The merit list (selected and waiting list) for all categories i.e. UR / EWS / OBC / SC / ST shall be prepared on the basis of combined marks of written test and personal interview or only Personal Interview.
• Any vacancy arising because of non-joining by selected candidates in this selection or by resignation of candidates, post will be offered to the candidates from waiting list according to the merit panel. All applicants must provide latest mobile numbers and e-mail for timely communication.
• For qualification /Reservation /Selection Procedure/Emolument/date of Interview and other latest details, candidates are advised to visit AIIMS, Bhubaneswar website regularly.
• Selected Candidate will be expected to stay in Institute Campus if offered residential accommodation.
