Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for various posts on a Contractual basis in the ICMR, New Delhi -funded research project titled “Clinical validation of standardized RT-LAMP assisted CRISPR-Cas based rapid, sensitive assay for tuberculosis diagnosis and kit development”.
The project's duration is three years, subject to annual extension by the funding agency. The project is sanctioned to Dr. Jitendra Singh, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Translational Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal, Saket Nagar, Bhopal, MP, in the capacity of Principal Investigator.
AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Details
- Project Research scientist-1 (Non Medical): Second Class Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ with a PhD degree OR First Class Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/Microbiology
- Project technical support-II: 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + Five years experience in relevant subjects/fields.
AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- Project Research scientist-1 (Non Medical): Below 35 years (as on the last date of application). Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates will be applicable as per rule.
- Project technical support-II: Below 30 years (as of the last date of application). Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates will be applicable as per the rule.
Selection Process for AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2024
- Interview by the selection committee. However, in view of more than 30 eligible candidates appearing for the interview, a written examination comprising 20 multiple-choice questions with 20 marks will be conducted on the day of the interview, and the candidates may be short-listed for the interview based on the result of the written examination.
- The qualifying marks for the written test shall be as follows: For SC/ST: 35% and For UR/OBC/EWS: 40%.
- The candidates scoring qualifying marks or more shall be interviewed as follows: Top five candidates in written test in each post. The final merit shall be prepared based on written test marks and interviews. In case of non-conductance of the written exam being less than 30 eligible candidates, the merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the interview.

- Interested candidates should bring the duly printed and filled application form along with scanned copies of their qualification and experience certificates, No-Objection certificate (NOC), if applicable, as a single PDF file to Dr Jitendra Singh at [email protected] by 25th February 2024.
- Incomplete applications or applications without a prescribed format or received after the due date will not be considered. Interested candidates may download the application from the AIIMS Bhopal website. No TA/DA will be provided for this interview. The interview will be conducted by appearing personally at the venue, and there is no provision for conducting an online interview.
- NOC from the current employer (if in government service) must be submitted with the application form. Original documents for verification should also be brought at the time of joining.
