Position, Vacancy for AHC Recruitment 2024
Post Name: Stenographer Grade-III (Category- ‘C’)
No. of Vacancies: 583 (517 for Stenographer [Hindi] + 66 for Stenographer [English])
Qualification for AHC Recruitment 2024
For Hindi Stenographers:-
Graduation with Diploma or Certificate in Stenography with a speed of 80 w.p.m. in short hand and 30 w.p.m in Typing both in Hindi along with CCC certificate issued by NIELIT (DOEACC Society) and 25/30 w.p.m for Hindi/English Typewriting on Computer
For English Stenographers:-
Graduation with Diploma or Certificate in Stenography with a speed of 100 w.p.m. in short hand and 40 w.p.m in Typing both in English along with CCC certificate issued by NIELIT (DOEACC Society) and 25/30 w.p.m for Hindi/English Typewriting on Computer
Pay Scale for AHC Recruitment 2024
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-
Age Limit for AHC Recruitment 2024
- A candidate for Direct Recruitment on the post of Stenographer Grade-III must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of more than 40 years on the 1st day of July of the year in which advertisement is published i.e. 2024.
- The candidate should not be born before 2 nd July, 1984 and not born after 1 st July, 2006.
Application Fee for AHC Recruitment 2024
- Fee Payable through: State Bank of India
- General (UR) / OBC: Rs. 950/-
- EWS of U.P.: Rs. 850/-
- SC & ST of U.P.: Rs. 750/-
Selection Procedure for AHC Recruitment 2024
- Stage- I : Written Examination (Time 90 Minutes) Examination will carry 100 marks 100 questions
- Stage-II (Part A): Hindi and English Type Test on Computer- 25 w.p.m for Hindi and 30 w.p.m. for English typewriting on computer.
- Stage-II (Part B): Hindi/English Stenography Test For Hindi Stenographers: - 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand in Hindi. For English Stenographers: - 100 w.p.m. in Shorthand in English.

- Candidate can apply for the above post through “Online” mode only.
- The Application Form in any other mode shall not be accepted
- Only One Application Shall be accepted from a candidate for the post of Stenographer Grade-III.
- However, Candidates applying for both Posts Stenographer Grade-III (Hindi) and Stenographer Grade-III (English) need to select “Both” in the application form online and shall have to pay fees accordingly for both the posts (double the amount of prescribed fee)
- In case more than one Application i.e. multiple Application Forms are submitted for the same post by the same candidate, then the last application form submitted by such candidate with requisite fee shall only be taken into account.
