AFT Chandigarh is inviting applications for the position of Law Researchers, with one post available and a salary of Rs. 50,000/-. Applicants must be law graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Law, having obtained at least 50% marks, and possessing knowledge of legal research tools such as SCC On-Line and Manupatra.
Preference will be given to candidates with an LL.M. degree. The age limit for applicants is between 23 and 35 years. Selection will be conducted through interviews and other verification processes, with a possibility of a written examination if the number of applications is large.
Interested candidates can download the application form from the websites of the Armed Forces Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, and AFT, RB, Chandigarh, and submit it along with necessary documents to the Registrar, Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Chandigarh, before the deadline of 18 June 2024. Original documents need not be enclosed with the application but must be produced during the interview/interaction if called upon. The Registrar reserves the right to cancel or vary the vacancies without providing reasons.

Qualifications Details for AFT Chandigarh Recruitment 2024
- The candidate must be a law graduate having a Bachelor Degree in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) with 50% minimum marks from any College/University established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate (preference will be given to those who posses the LL.M Degree).
- The candidate must have the knowledge of retrieval of desired information from various search engines/processes such as SCC On-Line, Manupatra, etc.

Pay Scale for AFT Chandigarh Recruitment 2024
AFT Chandigarh is seeking applications from Indian citizens meeting the qualifications and eligibility criteria outlined below for the role of Law Researchers. This is to create a panel for the engagement of at least two Law Researchers at the Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench in Chandigarh. The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 50,000/-. The panel will remain valid for a duration of two years.
Selection Process for AFT Chandigarh Recruitment 2024
Law Researchers will be selected by the Chairperson or a Committee constituted by the Hon'ble Chairperson of the Tribunal by way of interview/interaction and other necessary verification. If the applications received are large in number, the selection will be made through written examination.

The eligible candidates are advised to download the application form from the website of the Armed Forces Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi www.aftdelhi.nic.in and website of AFT, RB, Chandigarh www.aftchd.in and submit the same in hard copy to the Registrar, Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Chandigarh near Tank TCP, Chandimandir, Haryana-134107, super-scribing on the envelope 'Engagement of Law Researcher' by post/by hand along with copies of necessary documents duly self attested by the candidate, on or before 18 June 2024.
If eligible, they will be called for interview as and when requirement arises at the Tribunal. Original testimonials need not be enclosed. The originals shall, however, be required to be produced at the time of interview/interaction. The Registrar of the Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, reserves the right to cancel/vary the vacancies, without assigning any reasons thereof.
