ACTREC is conducting a walk-in interview for the position of Computer Programmer as part of a project on April 22, 2024. The salary for the role ranges from Rs. 34,000 to 91,000 per month, and the place of work is at the Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, ACTREC-Kharghar. Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Proficiency in programming with Python & R in a Linux environment, along with knowledge of terminal-based Linux operating systems, is desirable. Experience in data management and analysis of medical and genomic data streams, as well as coding and automation of data management pipelines, is required. The duration of the position is 4 months or until the continuation of the project, whichever is earlier.
Interested candidates should bring their bio-data, original certificates, qualification certificates, experience certificates, photos, PAN card, etc., along with Xerox copies, to Room No. 205, 2nd floor, Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, ACTREC-Kharghar, on April 22, 2024, between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Qualification for ACTREC Recruitment 2024
- M.Sc. in Computer Science in Govt. recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in relevant fields.
- Programming with Python & R in Linux environment experience is desirable.
- Working knowledge of terminal based Linux operating systems.
- Experience in data management of GWAS & NGS, and data analysis of medical and genomic data streams, Coding and automation of data management pipelines.
- Bioinformatics platforms and tools such as Plink, SAM tools, DRAGEN, FUMA & other alignment, lift over & imputation tools
