The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will announce the WBJEE 2024 counselling dates after the results are released. The WBJEE counselling process will take place online at wbjeeb.nic.in. WBJEE counselling 2024 will occur in multiple rounds, depending on seat availability. Only candidates who qualify for the WBJEE exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process will include registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and payment for seat acceptance.

WBJEE 2024 Counselling Exam Dates

Step 1 - WBJEE Registration

First, candidates need to register for WBJEE 2024 counselling by visiting the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. Ensure that all submitted details are accurate, as they cannot be edited after submission. Note that there is only one registration period for all rounds of allotment, and no registration is allowed after the WBJEE counselling 2024 deadline. Follow these steps to complete the WBJEE 2024 counselling registration:

1. Visit the WBJEE Counselling 2024 official website.
2. Click on the WBJEE counselling registration link.
3. Select "New Candidate Registration." Choose to register through WBJEE, JEE Main, or both.
4. Candidates registering through WBJEE 2024 must provide their application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
5. JEE Main 2024 candidates must also enter their application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
6. If registering through both channels, enter details for both examinations.
7. Click "Submit."

Step 2 - Payment of Counselling Fee

After registration, candidates must pay the WBJEE 2024 counselling fee online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. Note that the counselling fee is non-refundable.

Step 3 - Filling and Locking of Choices

Registered candidates must fill in their preferred colleges and courses online for the WBJEE 2024 seat allotment. Choices should be selected in order of preference. Ensure to edit and lock the choices before the final date. If choices are not locked by the final date, the system will automatically lock the last saved choices. Print a copy of the filled choices for future reference.

Step 4 - Seat Allotment

Seats will be allocated to registered students based on merit, preferences, and availability through online, centralised WBJEE counselling. There will be three rounds of seat allotment. Students can check their WBJEE 2024 allotment status by logging in with their credentials. Individual allotment letters will not be sent; candidates must download the online seat allotment letter by paying the seat acceptance fee online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline (e-challan of Allahabad Bank).

Step 5 - Document Verification

Candidates allotted seats through WBJEE 2024 counselling must report to their respective centres for document verification and fee payment. Present the following documents at the reporting centres:

• WBJEE 2024 result or rank card
• WBJEE 2024 provisional allotment letter
• WBJEE 2024 confirmation page
• 10th standard (or equivalent) admit card or certificate for name and age verification
• 10th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet for English subject mark verification
• Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates)
• Physically challenged certificate for PwD category candidates
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• JEE Main 2024 result (if applicable)
• ‘Yes Upgradation’ or ‘No Upgradation’ option form
