They should click on the WBJEE counselling registration link and select "New Candidate Registration". Options for registration through WBJEE or JEE Main (or both) will be provided. Details such as application number, roll number, name, and date of birth must be entered accurately. After submission, no edits can be made. Registration will close after the specified deadline for all rounds of allotment.
Step 2 - Payment of Counselling Fee: Following registration, candidates are required to pay the WBJEE 2024 counselling fee online using debit card, credit card, or net banking. The fee is non-refundable.
Step 3 - Choice Filling and Locking: Registered candidates must fill their preferred colleges and courses online for WBJEE seat allotment 2024. Choices should be prioritized in order of preference. Editing and final locking of choices must be completed before the specified deadline. If choices are not locked in time, the system will automatically lock the last saved preferences. Candidates should retain a printout of their choices for future reference.
Step 4 - Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on merit, selected preferences, and seat availability through centralized WBJEE counselling. The authorities will conduct three rounds of seat allotment. Candidates can check their WBJEE 2024 allotment status by logging in with their credentials. Individual allotment letters will not be issued. To download the online seat allotment letter, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee online (via net banking, credit card, debit card) or offline (through an e-challan from Allahabad Bank).
Step 5 - Document Verification: Candidates allotted seats must report to designated reporting centres for document verification. Required documents include WBJEE result 2024 or rank card, provisional allotment letter, WBJEE 2024 confirmation page, 10th standard certificate for name and age verification, 10th standard mark sheet for English subject marks verification, caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B), PwD certificate (if applicable), income certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate (if applicable), and JEE Main 2024 result (if applicable). Candidates must also submit the 'Yes Upgradation' or 'No Upgradation' option form.
Step 6 - Reporting to Allotted Institute: Finally, candidates must report to their allocated institute to confirm admission. They must present the provisional allotment letter and carry original as well as photocopies of all required documents.
