Conducted online at wbjeeb.nic.in, the WBJEE counselling process will consist of multiple rounds, contingent upon seat availability. Procedure of WBJEE Counselling 2024

Step 1 - WBJEE Registration: Initially, candidates must register for WBJEE counselling 2024 via the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. It's crucial to ensure accuracy in the submitted details, as they cannot be modified post-submission. Note that there's only one registration window for all allotment rounds, and no registrations will be permitted after the WBJEE counselling 2024 deadline. Follow these steps for WBJEE 2024 counselling registration:

1. Visit the official WBJEE Counselling 2024 website.
2. Click on the WBJEE counselling registration link.
3. Choose "New Candidate Registration."
4. Opt for registration through WBJEE, JEE Main, or both.
5. Provide the required details like application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.

Step 2 - Payment o

Counselling Fee: Following registration, candidates need to remit the prescribed WBJEE counselling 2024 fee online, through methods such as debit card, credit card, or net banking. It's important to note that the counselling fee is non-refundable.

Step 3 - Filling and Locking of Choices: Subsequently, registered candidates must select their preferred colleges and courses online for WBJEE seat allotment 2024, in order of preference. Editing and locking of choices must be completed before the specified deadline. Failure to lock choices by the deadline will result in automatic locking of the last saved choices. Candidates should retain a printout of their filled choices for future reference.

Step 4 - Seat Allotment: The authorities will allocate seats to candidates based on merit, selected preferences, and seat availability through online, centralized WBJEE counselling. Expect three rounds of seat allotment. Candidates can check their WBJEE 2024 allotment status by logging in with their credentials. Individual allotment letters will not be issued. To download the online seat allotment letter, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee online (net banking, credit card, debit card) or offline (e-challan of Allahabad Bank).

Step 5 - Document Verification: Candidates who receive seat allotments through WBJEE counselling 2024 must report to their designated reporting centers for document verification and payment of the required fee. The following documents are necessary for verification:

• WBJEE result 2024 or rank card.
• WBJEE 2024 provisional allotment letter.
• Confirmation page of WBJEE 2024.
• Admit card or certificate of 10th standard (or equivalent) examination for name and age verification.
• 10th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet for English subject mark verification.
• Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates).
• Physically challenged certificate for PwD category candidates.
• Income certificate (if applicable).

Step 6 - Reporting to Allotted Institute: Reporting to Allotted Institute: Finally, the candidates will have to report to their respective allotted institute for confirmation of admission. The provisional allotment letter issued also has to be presented at their respective institute. The candidates will also have to carry original and photocopies of their documents.
