The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the answer key for the Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) 2024 exams on its official website. Candidates who participated in the entrance exam can download the answer key by visiting wbjeeb.nic.in.

The WB ANM and GNM entrance exam, which took place in July, consisted of multiple-choice questions and lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. A total of 100 questions were spread across five sections: Life Science, Physical Science, Basic English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning. The question paper was available in both English and Bengali, except for the English and Logical Reasoning sections.

WB ANM, GNM 2024 answer key objection facility

Candidates who are not satisfied with the WB ANM and GNM 2024 answer key can raise objections. The objection window is open until August 15, up to 11:59 PM. A fee of Rs 500 per question must be paid for each challenge. Objections submitted through any other means will not be considered valid.

WBJEE ANM, GNM Answer Key 2024: Calculate probable scores

Candidates can calculate their probable scores using the WB ANM and GNM Answer Key 2024 by following these instructions:

• Add 1 mark for each correct answer in Category 1.
• Add 2 marks for each correct answer in Category 2.
• Deduct 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
• No marks will be deducted for questions not attempted.

WBJEE ANM, GNM 2024 Answer Key: Scoring methodology

Category 1 Questions:

• Each correct answer earns one mark.
• Selecting an incorrect option results in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
• Choosing more than one option, even if one is correct, also leads to a deduction of 0.25 marks.
• No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.

Category 2 Questions:

• Candidates earn two marks by selecting all correct options.
• Selecting any incorrect option marks the response as incorrect, resulting in zero marks regardless of any correct options chosen.
• For partially correct answers, where some but not all correct options are selected and no incorrect options are chosen, the score is calculated based on the number of correct options marked compared to the total number of correct options.
