The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, also known as UKPSC, is the state agency responsible for conducting the Civil Services Examination to facilitate entry-level appointments to various civil services positions within the state of Uttarakhand.
Established under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India, the commission was constituted by the Governor of Uttarakhand through notification no. 247/1 Personnel 2001 dated 14 March 2001, and officially commenced operations on 15 May 2001.
The Commission consists of a Chairperson and six Members as per the sanctioned strength.
