The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the Round 2 seat allotment result for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2024 counselling. Participants of the Round 2 counselling session can now access their UCEED seat allotment 2024 result through the official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in.

BDes Round II seat allotment
The list of selected candidates in the Round II of admissions to the BDes programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur for Academic Year 2024-2025 is announced. Please read the information given in the document carefully. Click here to download the document with instructions and the list of selected candidates.
Instructions:
1. Acceptance of seat allotment, choice of FREEZE / FLOAT option and the payment of the seat acceptance fee MUST BE COMPLETED by May 18, 2024, 06:00 PM.
2. An email with payment details will be sent to all the candidates who have been allotted a seat. The seat acceptance fee MUST BE PAID through the payment portal(Click here).
A provisional seat allotment letter will be available to download for those who have been allotted a seat, after the payment of the seat acceptance fee, in the candidate's login.
Online Registration Steps :
1. Refer UCEED 2024 Information Brochure for eligibility criteria, documents required, registration fee structure, scribe criteria, caste certificate etc.
2. New users should click on 'Register' to create their account with the IITB external user registration portal. New users require a valid email ID which shall be verified by sending email verification information.
3. Registered users may click at 'Login' button to enter the UCEED registration portal.
UCEED 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for appearing for the UCEED 2024 exam are:
- To be eligible for appearing in UCEED 2024, candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1999, if they belong to the open or OBC-NCL category, and if they belong to SC, ST, or PWD category, then they must be born on or after October 1, 1994 (Relaxation of 5 years).
- The maximum number of attempts will be two times in consecutive years.
- Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination, that is class 12 or equivalent in 2023 or appearing in 2024. Students who have passed in 2022, or earlier are not eligible to apply. Further, students from all streams all eligible to apply for the exam.
The eligibility criteria for applying for B.Des after the UCEED 2024 exam are as follows:
- Candidates must have obtained the qualified rank in the UCEED 2024 exam.
- Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination, that is Class 12 or equivalent in 2023 or appearing in 2024. Further, students from all streams all eligible to apply for the UCEED exam.
- Candidates from the science stream with physics, chemistry, and maths, as subjects are eligible to apply for admission to IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur.
- Candidates from any other stream, that is science without physics, chemistry or maths, commerce, arts, or humanities, are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay and IIITDM Jabalpur.
UCEED Seat Allotment Result 2024? -FAQ
Candidates must note that IIT Bombay will not send UCEED admit card personally to the candidates through post or email. UCEED 2024 admit card was issued only in online mode on the official website.
The UCEED 2024 application fee for female candidates is Rs. 1900
