The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has announced the examination schedule for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2025 today, October 1. According to the schedule, UCEED 2025 will take place on January 19, 2025, in a single shift from 9 AM to 12 noon.

The institute will begin the registration process for UCEED 2025 today, October 1, at 1 PM. Eligible candidates can complete the UCEED 2025 application form on the official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The deadline for registering with the regular fee is October 31, 2024.

UCEED 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates, including foreign nationals, must meet all three of the following criteria to be eligible for UCEED 2025:

1. Age Limit:

   • Candidates from the open category, economically weaker sections (EWS), and other backward classes – non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL) must be born on or after October 1, 2000.
   • Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), or persons with disabilities (PwD) categories must be born on or after October 1, 1995.

2. Number of Attempts:

   • A candidate may attempt UCEED a maximum of two times, only in consecutive years. The UCEED score is valid for one year and is applicable solely for admissions in that academic year.

3. Qualifying Examination:

   • To be eligible for UCEED 2025, candidates must have appeared for the Class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in 2024 or 2025. Students from all streams, including science, commerce, and arts/humanities, are eligible. Candidates who first appeared in 2023 or earlier are not eligible.
