SCTIMST Recruitment 2024 Walk-In Interviews for Project Technician Support II on 20.06.2024
Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) is conducting walk-in interviews for the temporary position of Project Technician Support II in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. There is one vacancy available, initially reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, with eligibility opening to Unreserved (UR) candidates if no suitable ST applicants are found.
Applicants must be 35 years old or younger as of June 1, 2024. The position requires candidates to have a 12th pass in science with a two-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or a B.Sc. in MLT, along with specific experience in DNA isolation, PCR, and blood collection from children. Alternatively, candidates with an M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences are also eligible. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 20,000/- plus 18% House Rent Allowance.
The appointment is for a period of one year or until the completion of the project. Qualifications Details for SCTIMST Recruitment 2024
12th pass in science subjects with two ycars Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology OR B.Sc. MLT. One year experience in isolation and quantification of DNA from human whole blood, carrying out PCR. Experience in collecting blood from children. MSc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences.
Age Limit for SCTIMST Recruitment 2024
The Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) is inviting applications for the position of Project Technician Support II. There is one vacancy, designated as a Scheduled Tribe (ST) backlog position. If no eligible ST candidates are found, the position will be opened to Unreserved (UR) candidates. Caste Certificate (for ST) should be valid and in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Government Institutions, issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildar.
