The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting applications for the position of Support Officer, with one vacancy available in Hyderabad. The role offers a salary ranging from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 65,000 per month, depending on the grade. Candidates must be retired officers from SBI or its erstwhile Associates, having retired at the age of 60 after reaching superannuation.
Eligible candidates should be under 63 years of age as of June 7, 2024, and must have at least five years of experience in Trade Finance, International Banking, or Forex domains, having served in scales III, IV, or V. The contract will be renewed up to a maximum age of 65 years.
The selection process involves shortlisting candidates based on the bank’s criteria, followed by an interview carrying 100 marks. The final selection will be based on the interview scores. Qualifications Details for SBI Recruitment 2024
- Since, the applicants are retired officers of SBI & erstwhile Associates (e-ABs), no specific educational qualifications are required
- An officer of the Bank retired in scales III, IV, V having 5 years’ experience of Working in Trade Finance/International Banking/Forex domain.
Age Limit for SBI Recruitment 2024
The engagement shall be up to the maximum age of 65 years, subject to other conditions regarding renewal of contract. As such, maximum age as on date of advertisement i.e., on 07.06.2024 should not be more than 63 years. The officer should have retired from the Bank’s service only on attaining superannuation at the age of 60 years.
Pay Scale for SBI Recruitment 2024
- The remuneration for the Support Officer Trade Finance Revamp / Support Officer YONO Business will be as under:
- MMGS-III Rs.45,000/-
- SMGS-IV Rs.50,000/-
- SMGS-V Rs.65,000/
- Remuneration will be paid at monthly intervals. There will be no provision for house / furniture by the bank nor other benefits / perquisites / a membership in Provident fund / pension fund and gratuity during the contract period and no other claim will be entertained
Selection Process for SBI Recruitment 2024
- Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidate for being called for interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in interview will be decided by the Bank. Decision of the committee will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Merit list for final selection will be prepared in descending order of scores obtained in interview only, subject to candidate scoring minimum qualifying marks. In case more than one candidate score common cut-off marks, such candidates will be ranked in the merit in descending order of their age
