Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) is seeking to fill one post for the role of Additional General Manager/Joint General Manager (Civil) based in Kolkata. The position is for a duration of five years, subject to government approval for RVNL's exemption from the rule of immediate absorption. This appointment will be on a deputation basis, and the candidate must be below 56 years of age.
The selected individual will continue to receive their parent pay plus a deputation allowance. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in infrastructure construction projects. For the AGM (Civil) role, eligible officers must be from the Civil Engineering Department, holding substantive posts in either analogous grades (CDA/IDA), Level-13 (CDA) with 12-14 years of Group 'A' service, or IDA E-6 grade for four years. For the JGM (Civil) role, candidates should hold posts in analogous grades, Level-12 (CDA) with 8-12 years of Group 'A' service, or IDA E-5 grade for four years.

Holding Substantively (I) Posts In Analogous Grade (Cda/ida) Or (Ii) Posts In Level-13(Cda) & Having 12-14 Years’ Service In Group ‘a’ Or (Iii) Posts In Ida E-6 Grade (Rs. 90000-240000/-) For Four Years
- Officers Of Civil Engg. Deptt. Holding Substantively (I) Posts In Analogous Grade (Cda/ida) Or (Ii) Posts In Level-12(Cda) & Having 8-12 Years’ Service In Group ‘a’ Or (Iii) Posts Carrying Grade Ida E-5 (Rs. 80000-220000/-) For Four Years.
