Raman Research Institute (RRI) is inviting applications for two Research Assistant positions in Quantum Technology Development using ultra-cold atoms. The roles offer a consolidated salary of Rs. 31,000 per month plus admissible HRA. Applicants must be under 35 years old as of June 28, 2024.
Candidates should hold an M.Sc. in Physics, Engineering Physics, Quantum Technology, Photonics, or related fields, or a B.E./B.Tech in Engineering Physics, Electronics, or related fields, with at least 60% marks. Preference is given to those with an M. Tech, M. Phil, or equivalent degree with thesis work, and experience in areas like lasers and control electronics, optics designing, electronics handling, LabVIEW, and RF/microwave signal processing.

Qualifications Details for RRI Recruitment 2024
Essential Qualification::
- M.Sc. (Physics / Engineering Physics/ Quantum Technology / Photonics/ Related fields) or B.E. / B.Tech (Engineering Physics / Electronics / Related fields) with a minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent.
- M. Tech / M. Phil or equivalent degree with a thesis work will be given preference.
Desirable:
The candidate should be motivated and should have a flair for experimental work. The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Lasers and control electronics
- Optics designing / alignments
- Electronics purchase, handling, soldering, assembling, designing and related experience
- Control of instruments using LabVIEW
- Radio-Frequency (RF) and Microwave signal processing Preference will be given to the candidates who have previously worked with relevant research area and has hands on experience.
Age Limit for RRI Recruitment 2024
