RCIL is recruiting for the position of Group General Manager or ED, with one post available. The application deadline is July 6, 2024, and applicants must be under 56 years of age. Eligibility for deputation/absorption includes SAG officers (Level-14/SG Level-13) with 18 years of Group A service or working in the IDA scale of Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000/- (E-8). For direct recruitment, criteria will be as per the PDF cutoff date.
For deputation, SAG officers should not exceed 58 years and below SAG level officers should not exceed 56 years on the application closing date. For absorption, officers should be below 57 years on the application closing date. The pay scale includes the parent grade pay plus deputation allowance as per rules for deputation, DPE scales plus allowances for absorption, and as given for direct recruitment. Responsibilities include marketing telecom capacities, executing projects, maintaining optical fiber cable, and coordinating with Railways, DoT, and other institutions.

For Deputation/absorption:
For Ggm (E-8 Level In Ida Scale): Sag Officers (Level-14;/sg (Level-13) With 18 Years Group A Service)(Cda);or Wkg In Ida Scale Of Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000/-(E-8).
For Ed (E-8 Level In Ida Scale): 5years In Sag (Level- 14)(Cda), Or 5years Wkg In Ida Scale Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000/-(E-8).
For Direct Recruitment: As Per PDF Cut Off Date For Age And Eligibility Would Be Reckoned As On Closing Date Of Receipt Of Application.

As Given (On Direct Recruitment) He/she Will Be Responsible For Marketing Of Various Telecom Capacities & Products Created By Railtel, & Execution Of Projects Viz. Rdn, Cod, Iot Etc. Maintenance Of Optical Fibre Cable, Usof, & Railway Routes, Dwm Network, Sdh Electronics, Ip And Mpls Systems & Power Supply Coordination With Railways, Dot And Other Institutions.

- The cutoff date for age and eligibility will be reckoned as the closing date for receipt of applications. The closing date is 21 days from the date of publication of the vacancy notice in the Employment News. Candidates may apply through the proper channel using the prescribed proforma available of this vacancy notice.
- Zonal Railways and others are requested to forward the applications of eligible candidates, along with their bio-data indicating previous postings, and a statement detailing any previous deputations in Central PSUs, duly signed by the applicant. Additionally, applications should include vigilance/DAR clearance and 5 years of APARs.
