Oil India Limited (OIL) was incorporated in 1959 under Indian Companies Act 1956 as a partnership venture between Government of India and Burmah Oil Company with the objective to manage oil fields in Assam.The Company became a Central Public Sector Enterprises in 1981.
Over the years, the operations of the Company have extended to various areas in India and abroad. It is a Schedule-"A" /Maharatna CPSE with the administrative jurisdiction of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The company employed 6492 regular employees (Executive-1771 and Non-excecutive- 4721) as on 31.03.2024.

Qualifications Details for OIL Recruitment 2024
The applicant should be a graduate with good academic record from a recognized University/Institute. Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Personnel Management/Human Resource Management or Masters in Business Administration (MBA)/ Post Graduate Diploma/Programme in Management (PGDM/PGPM) from a recognized University/Institute is desirable.
Age Limit for OIL Recruitment 2024
- The age of superannuation for this position is 60 years.
- There are two minimum residual service requirements depending on the applicant's category:
- Internal candidates: Must have a minimum of 2 years of residual service remaining as of the vacancy date, calculated based on their superannuation age.
- Other candidates: Must have a minimum of 3 years of residual service remaining as of the vacancy date, calculated based on their superannuation age.
