OFBA is recruiting 158 DBW Personnel for the AOCP trade on a tenure basis in Maharashtra. The age limit for general candidates is 18 to 35 years, with relaxations applicable to SC/ST, OBC-NCL, and Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.

Qualifications Details for OFBA Recruitment 2024
- Candidates possessing NAC / NTC Certificate issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) of AOCP Trade who are trained in Ordnance Factories under erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board or under Munitions India Limited (MIL), having training/experience in the Military ammunition and explosives manufacturing and handling or
- Candidates possessing NAC / NTC Certificate issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in AOCP Trade from Government/ Private Organization having affiliation from Government and the candidates having AOCP from Government ITI will be considered.
- Candidates possessing NAC / NTC Certificate issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) of AOCP Trade who have completed Apprentice training in AOCP trade from Ordnance Factories under erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board or under Munitions India Limited (MIL), having training/experience in the Military ammunition and explosives manufacturing and handling
Age Limit for OFBA Recruitment 2024
The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 35 years as of the application deadline of 15th July 2024 for General Candidates. Candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC/ST, and Ex-Servicemen categories are eligible for age relaxation as follows:
- SC/ST candidates can avail a relaxation of 5 years, applicable only to posts reserved for SC/ST.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 3 years, applicable only to posts reserved for OBC.
- Ex-Servicemen can add the period of military service plus an additional 3 years to their actual age.
Pay Scale for OFBA Recruitment 2024
The post available is for DBW (Danger Building Worker) Personnel of AOCP trade on a tenure basis. The pay package includes Rs. 19,900 along with applicable Dearness Allowance (DA). Remuneration will be paid at the rate of 1/30th of the pay at the basic of the relevant pay scale plus dearness allowance for work of 8 hours a day. An annual increase of 3% during the tenure shall be admissible on the Basic Pay, subject to satisfactory performance
Selection Process for OFBA Recruitment 2024
- Selection of the candidates shall be done based on the Marks scored in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical test only, in the order of Merit.
- Trade Test will be carried out at Ordnance Factory Bhandara. Trade Test/ Practical test will be of 100 marks
- Merit list will be prepared based on combined marks secured in NCTVT Exam and Trade test/Practical Test.
- Weightage of Marks in NCTVT Exam and Trade test/Practical test will be 80% and 20% respectively.
- Candidates qualifying in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical test will be called for Document Verification in the order of Merit
- Combined Merit list will be prepared for candidates trained in AOCP at Ordnance factories and other institutes for applications against Table A vacancies.
