NWIC, or the National Water Informatics Centre, is inviting applications for seven positions across three roles: Joint Director (2 positions), Deputy Director (1 position), and Assistant Director (4 positions). Eligibility Conditions for NWIC Recruitment 2024
Educational qualification required for the three posts viz. Joint Director, Deputy Director and Assistant Director is as under : Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institute; or
Master's Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Hydrology or Geo- informatics or Computer Applications from a recognized university or institute with Bachelor's Degree in Science from a recognized university or institute.
Age Limit for NWIC Recruitment 2024
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) is 56 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications. NWIC is offering 07 posts for the positions of Joint Director, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director.
Pay Scale for NWIC Recruitment 2024
- The organization has openings for various positions in its hierarchical structure. There are a total of seven positions available across three different roles: Joint Director (2 positions), Deputy Director (1 position), and Assistant Director (4 positions). The compensation for these roles is structured as follows:
- Joint Directors are placed at Level 12 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) with a salary range from Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200. Deputy Directors are positioned at Level 11 with a pay scale of Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700. Assistant Directors occupy Level 10, receiving a salary between Rs. 56,100 and Rs. 1,77,500.

- Bio-data of the eligible and interested officers who could be spared immediately may please be forwarded to the following address strictly in the prescribed Proforma, with the up-to-date photocopies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports for the last five years (duly attested by an officer, not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent), as mentioned above.
- The application should reach this office within 45 days from the date of advertisement in Employment News/laIR 74141 (The advertisement of vacancy circular is scheduled to be published in the EN edition 08 June-14 June 2024). Applications received after the closing date or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered.
- While forwarding the applications, it may be verified and certified by the cadre controlling authority that the particulars furnished by the officer are correct and that no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending or contemplated against the officer.
