Northern Railway is inviting applications for the position of Medical Consultant at the Divisional Railway Hospital in Moradabad. Eligible candidates must hold a Post Graduate Degree or super specialty qualification (DM, MD) recognized by MCI/NMC in the relevant specialty and have valid registration with the State Medical Council.
The consultation fee is structured as Rs. 1000/- for the first case per visit, with additional cases costing Rs. 200/- each, and specific rates for various surgical procedures. The initial appointment is for one year, extendable annually based on performance. The selection process is final and subject to the jurisdiction of Moradabad.

Qualifications Details for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree or super specialty qualification (DM, MD) recognised by MCI/NMC in the concerned Specialty. Registration: Candidates must have a valid registration with State Medical Council. For candidates not having Registration with State Medical Council, they will have to apply to State Medical Council for registration, before joining. The proof regarding the same will have to be submitted at the time of joining.
Consutation Fee for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024
Consultation Fees: Consultation fees shall be Rs. 1000/- for first case per visit. For additional cases during same visit Rs.200/- per additional case. For surgical procedures, package rates shall be paid For minor surgery :Rs.2000/- per case For major surgery Rs 5000/- per case For Special surgery Rs.8000/ per case The package contains One preoperative check-up Surgical package.
Post- operative follow up for 3 days (excluding day of operation) For anaesthesia: Rs. 2,700/- per case, for general anaesthesia in major surgical cases including spinal and epidural block; For anaesthesia: Rs. 1,800/- per case, for short duration general anaesthesia e.g. with pentothal, ketolar etc. including General anaesthesia in minor surgical operations.
Tenure for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024
Initial appointment will be for one Year only. This would be extendable every year subject to satisfactory work, conduct & performance. Termination/ Resianation of endagement can be done on one-month prior notice.
Selection Process for Northern Railway Recruitment 2024
The decision of selection committee appointed by competent authority is final and in case of any legal dispute the place of court of jurisdiction shall be Moradabad

- All the required certificates duly self-attested must be attached with the application. The candidates must have their original certificates, publications with them at the time of interview for verification and need to submit the same before the interview committee.

- Enclosures as mentioned in the application form at Column-F are to be attached with the application
- Preference will be given to consultants who are not attached to the hospitals empanelled with Northern Railway Divisional Hospital, Moradabad.
- Consultants already enrolled at NRDH under cases to case basis scheme and have completed 5 years or more are required to re-apply against this advertisement notice.
