The project titled "Energy Conservative Approach Towards Sewage Water Treatment Integrated with Power Generation and Desalination Using Exoelectrogen and Algal Biocathode" is funded by DST under the WTI scheme and seeks a Project Assistant with either a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology, B.Tech or M.Tech in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, or related fields. Knowledge in Wastewater Treatment using Microbial Fuel Cell/Bioelectrochemical systems is preferred.
The position offers an emolument of Rs. 20,000 plus HRA for a duration of two years, extendable based on fund availability. The job entails investigating the integrated treatment system, compiling results, preparing reports, and presenting findings. The selected candidate is eligible for Ph.D. registration as per institute norms.

Qualifications Details for NIT Trichy Recruitment 2024
Preference is given to candidates with expertise in Wastewater Treatment utilizing Microbial Fuel Cells (MFCs) or Bioelectrochemical Systems. Suitable qualifications include a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology, a B.Tech in Biotechnology, or an M.E./M.Tech in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, or a related field.
Pay Scale for NIT Trichy Recruitment 2024
The project offers an emolument of Rs. 20,000/- along with HRA in accordance with Institute regulations. The duration of the position spans two years, contingent upon fund availability.
