NIMHANS is organizing a Written Test cum Walk-in Interview on May 27, 2024, at the Board Room and Exam Hall, NBRC 4th Floor, NIMHANS Bangalore-29 from 10.00 A.M onwards to fill multiple positions for the TATA Electronics Private Ltd funded project called “Employees Mental Health and Occupational Wellbeing Programme (EMPOWER)” under Dr. Anish V Cherian. The available positions include Programme Manager (1), Graphics/Visual Designer (1), Project Assistant (1), and Yoga Therapist (1), all based in Kolar, Karnataka.
The Programme Manager requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in mental health or community-based programs, fluency in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and English, and an M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work, Psychology, or Masters of Social Work, MSc. in Psychology. The Graphics/Visual Designer role necessitates a minimum of 1 year of experience in animation and graphic design, with a degree in Animation & Multimedia or related fields.
The Project Assistant position demands candidates with knowledge of computer applications and accounting, with experience in project management and data management being desirable. Fluency in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and English is essential for this role.

Qualifications Details for NIMHANS Recruitment 2024
Programme Manager: M. Phil in Psychiatric Social Work/ Psychology or Masters of Social Work, MSc. In Psychology with 10 years of work experience in mental health or community- based program. Candidates with research Experience in the field of Suicide Prevention are preferred.
Graphics/Visual Designer: MSc/ BSc in Animation & Multimedia/ Animation & Graphic Design/ Animation, Graphics & Web-design Candidates with experience in web- designing, animations with related to mental health is desirable. Minimum 01 year of experience in the relevant field.
Project Assistant: BSc/BBA/BCom/BCA, Candidates must have essential knowledge of computer applications & accounting. Candidates with experience in project accounts, project management, and data
management are desirable.
Yoga Therapist: MSc. Yoga/ MSc. Neurosciences with certification in Yoga (Minimum 200 hours of training in teaching yoga). Candidates with experience of teaching yoga to patients with Psychiatric
Disorders are preferred.
