The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) Ltd., a Schedule 'B' CPSE, is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Managing Director and Director (Finance) through a Search-cum-Selection Committee (ScSC) mode. Interested applicants are invited to apply for these roles, which offer a tenure of five years from the date of joining or until superannuation, or further orders, whichever comes first. Qualifications Details for NFDC Recruitment 2024
- The applicant should be a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or a fulltime MBA/PGDM with specialization in Finance, with good academic record from a recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to Chartered Accountant.
- Officers of Organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services (i.e. Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian P&T Accounts & Finance Service and Indian Cost Accounts Service) working at the appropriate level are exempted from these educational qualifications.
- The applicant should have at least five years of cumulative experience during the last ten years in the area of Corporate Financial Management/Corporate Accounts in an organization of repute.
- Applicants from Organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services should have at least five years of cumulative experience during the last ten years in the area of Corporate Financial Management/Corporate Accounts
- The relevant experience in respect of applicants from Central Government/Armed Forces of the Union/All India Services would include at least seven years of cumulative experience during the last ten years in the area of Corporate Management/Corporate Accounts.
Age Limit for NFDC Recruitment 2024
- For the position of Managing Director, candidates should have a minimum age of 45 years as of April 1, 2023, and must not exceed the maximum age of 60 years, the age of superannuation. Additionally, applicants must have at least 2 years of residual service left from the date of vacancy until the date of superannuation.
- For the Director position, the minimum age requirement varies: internally, candidates must be at least 40 years old, while for external applicants, the minimum age is also 40 years. Both categories have the same maximum age limit of 60 years. However, external candidates must have 3 years of residual service from the date of vacancy until the date of superannuation, while internal candidates require 2 years of residual service.
Pay Scale for NFDC Recruitment 2024
The salary scale for the position of Managing Director is set at Rs. 180,000 to Rs. 320,000, effective from January 1, 2017, in accordance with Schedule 'B' CPSE criteria. Similarly, the salary scale for the Director (Finance) position is Rs. 160,000 to Rs. 290,000 under the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) scheme, also effective from January 1, 2017, as per Schedule 'B' CPSE criteria.
