Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG 2024 Counselling

1. NEET UG Qualification:

   • Candidates must have qualified the NEET UG 2024 exam with a minimum percentile as specified by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

2. Nationality:

   • Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Foreign Nationals are eligible for NEET UG 2024 counselling.

3. Educational Qualification:

   • Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
   • General category candidates must secure at least 50% marks in the PCB group.
   • SC/ST/OBC candidates must secure at least 40% marks in the PCB group.
   • PwD candidates must secure at least 45% marks in the PCB group.

4. Age Limit:

   • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024.
   • The upper age limit is 25 years for general category candidates and 30 years for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD) as per the norms.

5. Domicile Requirements:

   • For state quota seats, candidates must fulfill the domicile criteria as specified by the respective state authorities.

6. Category Certificate:

   • Candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories must produce valid certificates during the counselling process.

7. All India Quota (AIQ) Seats:

   • Candidates participating in the 15% AIQ counselling must be Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, or Foreign Nationals.
   • Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for 15% AIQ seats unless they have signed a declaration form.

Important Points to Note:

• Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit as per the standards set by the respective medical institutions.
• Documents Required: During counselling, candidates must provide all necessary documents including the NEET UG scorecard, admit card, rank letter, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category certificate (if applicable), and domicile certificate (if applicable).

• 15% All India Quota seats of DU, IP University (VMMC, ABVIMS, ESIC Dental)

• Jamia Millia Islamia Open seats- Faculty of Dentistry

• 15% All India Quota Seats of ESIC medical college.
