The Library and Documentation Division of NCERT is seeking to recruit five Semi-Professional Assistants on a contractual basis for the project titled "Implementation of KOHA LMS at NIE Library." The essential educational qualification includes a B.Lib. Sc/BLISc./Graduation with Library Science/Information Science as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks, along with desirable criteria such as two years of experience in library & information science and knowledge of library software, preferably KOHA. The age limit is not more than 45 years, with relaxation for retired individuals up to 62 years as per government norms.
The remuneration offered is Rs. 29,000/- per month for a tenure up to 31st March 2025. The date of the interview is scheduled for 7th June 2024, with a reporting time between 09:00 am to 10:30 am at the Office of the Head, Library and Documentation Division (LDD), GB Pant Block, NIE, NCERT. Candidates must ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria and are required to bring their bio-data, two passport size photos, and self-attested copies of educational qualifications and relevant documents for verification during the interview. Original certificates and experience certificates, if any, must also be presented during screening/interview.
