The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is seeking applications for the position of Regional Officer in Mumbai, with one vacancy available. The ideal candidate should be an Officer of the Indian Administrative Service or Central Service Group 'A', eligible for appointment as Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, possessing a degree from a recognized university or equivalent, along with sound knowledge of Hindi and Marathi.

Qualifications Details for Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Recruitment 2024
Officers of the Indian Administrative Service or Central Service Group 'A' eligible for appointment as Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of India, along with following qualifications:
Degree of a recognized university or equivalent; Sound knowledge of Hindi and one more of the following Indian languages against each Regional Officer: Regional Officer, CBFC, Mumbai - Marathi Sound knowledge of Indian history and culture; and 10 years' administrative or managerial experience in a responsible capacity. (Period of deputation - ordinarily not exceeding 4 years)
