The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs is inviting applications for 17 consultant positions based in New Delhi. Eligible candidates are retired Central Government Officers who held the position of Section Officers/Assistant Section Officers or equivalent, possess a graduation degree in any field, and preferably have experience with land-related issues.
The maximum age for applicants is 63 years, with engagements not extending beyond 65 years. These roles are full-time and temporary, with consultants expected to provide high-quality services to the Land & Development Office or undertake specific tasks.
The monthly remuneration will follow the guidelines set by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Eligibility Conditions for Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Recruitment 2024
- Central Government Officers who retired at the level of Section Officers/ Assistant Section Officers or equivalent possessing graduation degree in any stream and having working experience preferably in Land related issues, would be eligible to be considered for the selection as Consultants. However, the engagement as Consultant shall not be considered as a case of re-employment.
- Consultants would be engaged for a period for providing high quality services to the Land & Development Office or for attending to specific and time bound tasks. The engagement of Consultant would be on full time basis and they would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during their engagement as Consultant in the Land & Development Office.
- The engagement Consultant is temporary (non-official) in nature and the same can be cancelled at any time by the Competent Authority without assigning any reasons thereof.

Pay Scale for Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Recruitment 2024
Monthly Remuneration/Fee: Monthly remuneration shall be as per M/o Finance, Deptt. Expenditure OM No. 3-25/2020- E IlIA dated gth December, 2020 and M/o HUA's Order No. A-12034/16/2012-Adm.l dated 20.12.2017.
