The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) is a government agency in Karnataka responsible for conducting competitive and departmental examinations to recruit candidates for various civil services within its jurisdiction, covering an area of 191,791 square kilometers.

H.B. Gundappa Gowda served as the first Chairman, along with Sri George Matthan and Sri H.M. Mallikarjunappa as Members. Since then, the Commission has had 13 Chairmen and 67 Members appointed by the Government.
