What are the tie-breaking rules followed in KDRB Result 2024?
If two or more candidates secure the same score in KDRB Result 2024 (in Prelims as well as in Mains Exam), Tie cases will be resolved by applying one after another, as applicable till the Tie is resolved.
- Among the candidates having equal marks in total (Main examination + interview taken together), the candidate with higher marks in the Main Examination will be ranked higher.
- In case of having equal marks in the Main Examination, the candidate with a higher qualification or in case of similar qualification, the candidate with higher scores in graduation will be ranked higher.
- In case of a further tie-up, the candidate who is senior in age will be ranked higher.
About KDRB
The Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board (KDRB) is an Indian trust that oversees the smooth operation of temples in accordance with customs and rituals. Established in March 2015 by the UDF government, KDRB recruits members for the Devaswom Boards of Kochi, Malabar, and Travancore, as well as for the Koodalmanikyam and Guruvayoor Devaswoms.
Kerala has five Devaswom Boards, including Malabar, Cochin, and Travancore, which collectively manage approximately 3,000 temples. KDRB's responsibilities include recruiting members and ensuring the smooth functioning of temples.
In 2023, KDRB issued a notification for 445 positions, with candidates eligible to apply until November 9, 2023. To qualify, candidates must have passed the 10th, 12th, Diploma, or Degree examinations in a relevant discipline.
