KAPL Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Inquiry Officers Vacancies, Check Eligibility at kaplindia.com
Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Limited (KAPL) is seeking retired officers to serve as Inquiry Officers for conducting departmental inquiries. Applicants must be retired officers not below the rank of Deputy Secretary in the Central Government or equivalent in State Government/PSUs, with a clean disciplinary record and suitable experience.
They should not be directly involved with the case as a witness, complainant, or have any personal relationship with the officer under inquiry. Interested candidates can apply by submitting their completed Bio-Data as per Annexure-'A' to the Deputy General Manager (HR) at KAPL's Bangalore office by post.
The deadline for applications is June 24, 2024. Successful applicants will receive honorarium based on their pension level and the number of witnesses involved in the case, along with transport arrangements provided by the company.

Eligibility Condition for KAPL Recruitment 2024
Following are the eligibility conditions for appointment of willing retired officers as Inquiry Officers to conduct departmental inquires:
- Retired officers who are willing to serve as Inquiry Officer. Retired Officers not below the rank of Dy. Secretary in the Central Government(i.e. equivalent to Pay level 12 of pay matrix as per 7th CPC) and equivalent Officer in the State Government/ PSUs(i.e. equivalent to pay scale of Rs. 70000-200000 as per IDA 3rd PRC).
- He/she should not have been penalized in a Disciplinary Proceeding case (no penalty in DP or prosecution in criminal case).
- The experience in the sector and status of residence shall also be considered.
- That he/she is not a witness or a complainant in the matter to be inquired into or a close relative or a known friend of the delinquent Government Officer. A Certificate to this effect will be obtained from the Inquiry Officer with respect to every inquiry and placed on record;
- Shall maintain strict secrecy in relation to the documents he/she receives or information/data collected by him/her in connection with the inquiry and utilize the same only for the purpose of inquiry in the case entrusted to him/her.
Honorarium for KAPL Recruitment 2024
Honorarium: The honorarium rates vary based on the category of the officer retired from either Ministries/Departments under the Government of India or from PSUs, and the number of witnesses cited in the charge sheet.

For officers retired from Ministries/Departments under Government of India:
- Cases with more than 10 witnesses: An amount equal to 90% of the monthly basic pension drawn.
- Cases with 6-10 witnesses: An amount equal to 60% of the monthly basic pension drawn.
- Cases with less than 6 witnesses: An amount equal to 45% of the last drawn Basic Pay.

For officers retired from PSUs:
- Cases with more than 10 witnesses: An amount equal to 70% of the monthly basic pension drawn.
- Cases with 6-10 witnesses: An amount equal to 35% of the last drawn Basic Pay.
- Cases with less than 6 witnesses: An amount equal to 30% of the last drawn Basic Pay.
Transport Allowance: To and fro taxi arrangements will be provided by the company for transportation.
Additional Honorarium: In cases of common disciplinary proceedings, an additional honorarium of Rs. 5000 will be payable to the Inquiry Officer for every additional charged officer.
