About JPSC
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is a state agency responsible for recruiting candidates for government positions in Jharkhand, India. Established on November 15, 2000, under Article 315 of the Indian Constitution, the JPSC was created following the merger of 18 districts from Bihar to form Jharkhand.
The JPSC conducts written exams and interviews to select qualified candidates for civil services and other positions. Its recruitment exams are held in three stages: prelims, mains, and an interview. The prelims consist of two objective-type papers, each worth 200 marks.
