The Director (Finance) at The Jute Corporation of India Limited is a Board member reporting to the Chairman and Managing Director, responsible for the organization's finance and accounts, including policy formulation and implementation. Eligible candidates must be in a regular employment capacity on the application and interview dates, working in CPSEs, Central Government (including Group 'A' Officers), SPSEs with a turnover of ₹500 crore or more, or private companies with similar turnover.
Candidates should be Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, or have an MBA/PGDM in Finance, with preference for Chartered Accountants. Group ‘A’ Accounts Services officers are exempt from these qualifications but must have at least five years of senior-level experience in Corporate Financial Management or Accounts within the last ten years.
Applicants from the Central Government, Armed Forces, or All India Services require seven years of similar experience. The age of superannuation is 60, with specific residual service requirements. Qualifications Details for JCI Recruitment 2024
- The applicant should be a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or a full time MBA/PGDM course having specialization in Finance with good academic record from a recognized University/Institution. Preference would be given to Chartered Accountant.
- Officers of Organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services [i.e. Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian P&T Accounts & Finance Service and Indian Cost Accounts Service] working in the appropriate level are exempted from these educational qualifications.
- Further, applicants from the Central Govt./Armed Forces of the Union/All India Services, will also be exempted from the educational qualifications as per (i) above provided the applicants have ‘the relevant experience’ as mentioned. In respect of applicants from Organized Group ‘A’ Accounts Services/Central Government/Armed Forces of the Union/All India Services, Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/MBA/PGDM will be a desirable educational qualification.
Age Limit for JCI Recruitment 2024
The age of superannuation for the Director (Finance) position is 60 years. On the date of occurrence of vacancy (DOV), internal candidates must be at least 40 years old and have a minimum of two years of residual service before reaching the age of superannuation. External candidates must also be at least 40 years old but require a minimum of three years of residual service before reaching the age of superannuation.
