Qualifications Details for IPR Recruitment 2024
- The candidate should be a Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering. The Ph.D. should be in an area relevant to the research & development interests of IPR.
- The candidate should also have first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (B.E. / B.Tech., M.Sc., M.E. /M.Tech.).
- The candidate should be an eminent Scientist / Engineer with excellent academic background, and high quality R&D output in the area of plasma sciences and/or related technologies. Successful Project implementation track record in the field of plasma/fusion science and technology is necessary.
Age Limit for IPR Recruitment 2024
The company IPR is currently seeking candidates for the position of Director. Applicants must meet specific age criteria: they should be at least 50 years old and not exceed 57 years of age as of January 1, 2025.
Pay Scale for IPR Recruitment 2024
The company IPR is offering the position of Director with a monthly salary of Rs. 2,05,400/-. The scale of pay for this role is in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix, as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), with an initial basic pay of Rs. 2,05,400/- per month. Additionally, allowances will be provided according to the rules of the Government of India or as per the bye-laws of IPR.
Selection Process for IPR Recruitment 2024
By Direct Recruitment (Search–cum-selection against open advertisement). There could either be an application or nomination by an Eminent Scientist / Technologist. Selection will be made by the Government of India, following the recommendations of a Search–cum–Selection Committee and the approval of the IPR Governing Council, as per Clause 26 of the Institute Bye-Laws

The application typed on plain paper alongwith self-attested enclosures may be sent by Registered/Speed Post to Under Secretary, Office of Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, Anushakti Bhavan, C.S.M Marg, Mumbai-400 001.
- The prescribed proforma may be downloaded from the Department's Website www.dae.gov.in / www.ipr.res.in. The last date for receipt of application by Registered post/speed Post is June 30, 2024. The advance copy of the application can also be sent by email to [email protected]. However, the date of receipt of application by Registered post/speed post will be treated as valid date and all such applications received beyond the prescribed date shall be treated as invalid applications.
