IIT Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Research Assistant Vacancies, Check Eligibility at iitbbs.ac.in
Applications are being sought for the position of Research Assistant on a purely temporary contract basis for a time-bound research project undertaken in the School of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management of the Institute. The project, titled "Subjective Wellbeing and Adaptive Strategy of the Agrarian Households of Odisha in the face of Climate Change," is funded by ICSSR. The emolument for the position is ₹37,000 per month.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.Phil, or Post Graduate degree in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks and should have experience in handling Primary Data. The age limit for applicants is less than 30 years, with age relaxation applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.
The duration of the project is two years, from 28th March 2024 to 27th March 2026, with the appointment being for one year from the date of joining. Selection will be based on an interview, and interested eligible candidates can apply through the online application system by 30th May 2024 on the Institute's website. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email for the interview, and there is no requirement to send hard copies of the application.
