The Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST) Shibpur is seeking to recruit a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Department of Physics. The position offers a salary ranging from Rs. 45,880 to Rs. 52,080 per month and is open to candidates under the age of 28, with an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates.
Eligible applicants must have an M.Sc. in Physics with a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Physics from a recognized university, securing a minimum of 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale throughout their academic career, and must have a valid GATE/NET qualification. Qualifications Details for IIEST Shibpur Recruitment 2024
M.Sc. in Physics with B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Physics from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale (throughout from class X to the qualifying degree) are eligible to apply for the JRF positions with valid GATE/ NET. For SC/ST category, a minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on 10 point scale (throughout from class X to the qualifying degree) is required with valid GATE/ NET.
