The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is inviting applications for the position of Consultant for its short-term research project, "Accelerating Efforts to END TB in India," based in New Delhi. The role requires candidates with an MBBS/BDS degree and a PG degree in relevant subjects like MPH, PhD, MD, or MDS, or professionals with an MSc/MA in relevant fields such as Clinical/Public health/Sociology/Social Work, along with research experience and published papers.
Proficiency in computer applications, excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, experience in statistical analysis tools like SPSS or Stata, coordination and management of multi-center studies, and publication in peer-reviewed journals are desired qualifications.
The position is temporary and contractual for one year, open to individuals up to 50 years of age, with a salary of Rs. 90,000 per month. Qualifications Details for ICMR Recruitment 2024
- MBBS/BDS with having proven competency and success in his/her area of work should possess PG degree in relevant subject viz. MPH /PhD/MD/MDS
- Professionals having MSc /MA in relevant subject (Clinical/Public health/Sociology/Social Work) with research and development experience and published papers.
- Knowledge of Computer applications (MS word/ Excel/ Power point)
- Good communication skills: Both speaking (English and Hindi) and writing skills (English)
- Experience in using any statistical analysis tool like SPSS, Stata, R, Experience in coordination and management of multi-centre studies
- Data quality management
- Experience in coordination and management of multi-centre studies
- Publication in peer reviewed journals
