ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024 Walk-In Interviews for Junior Research Fellow and Young Professional II on June 04, 2024
The Division of Genetics at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12, is conducting a Walk-In-Interview on June 4th, 2024, for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Young Professional II (YP II) in an ICAR-funded project focusing on pearl millet grain proteins.
The JRF position offers an emolument of Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA per month for the first and second years, and Rs. 35,000/- plus HRA per month for the third year, requiring candidates with a Master’s degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Botany, or a related life science field. Candidates with a post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences must have NET qualifications and two years of research experience.
The YP II position offers a fixed emolument of Rs. 42,000/- per month, with eligibility criteria similar to that of the JRF. Interested candidates must attend the interview in person with a self-attested scanned copy of original documents and a biodata in the specified proforma. Qualifications Details for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
Junior Research Fellow:
- Master’s degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding /Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor's Degree.
- Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No
Young Professional II: Master’s degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding /Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences as per ICAR OM No.F.No.Agril.Edn.1-06/2020- A&P dated 04.12.2020
Age Limit for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
Age limit: Maximum age of 35 years for JRF and 21 - 45 years for YP II, as on date of interview (Age relaxation SC/ST/ OBC/PWD/ Women and other exempted categories as per ICAR /GOI guidelines).
Pay Scale for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
- Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year & Rs. 35,000/- + HRA per month for 3 rd year.
- Young Professional II: Rs.42,000/-per Month (Fixed)
