ICARI-IARI, based in New Delhi, has announced recruitment for four positions: Senior Research Fellow and Young Professional II. For Senior Research Fellow, candidates must hold a Master's degree in Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Plant Biochemistry, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Botany, or a relevant life sciences discipline.
Those with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences and requisite research experience may also apply. The age limit is 35 for men and 40 for women. The salary ranges from Rs. 31,000 to Rs. 42,000 per month. Young Professional II candidates should have a postgraduate degree in the specified fields or a relevant agricultural sciences/engineering/technology degree. The age limit is 21 to 45 years. The selection process involves shortlisting based on eligibility criteria, educational performance, and relevant research experience, followed by an online/in-person interview in Delhi.

Qualifications Details for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
Senior Research Fellow :
- Master degree in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences with desirable experience with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's Degree
- Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET/ GATE qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014- HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council** and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January, 2019.
Young Professional II: Postgraduates in Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/ any relevant discipline of life sciences or graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences/ Engineering/ Technology
Age Limit for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
- Senior Research Fellow: Maximum: 35 years for men; 40 years for women
- Young Professional II: Minimum: 21 years; Maximum: 45 years
Pay Scale for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
- ₹31,000 + HRA per month for 1 st and 2nd year & ₹ 35,000 per month + HRA for 3rd year
- ₹ 42,000 per month (Fixed)
Selection Process for KMRC Recruitment 2024
- The candidates shall be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria, educational performance and/or relevant research experience, if applicable. Only, shortlisted candidates shall be informed about the screening results via email and shall be invited to attend online/ in person interview in Delhi.
- The original documents of the selected/ wait listed candidates shall be checked in person, before the issue of the offer letter
- The candidates are advised to regularly check their email for updates. No TA/DA shall be paid to attend the interview. The final result of the interview shall be published in IARI website (https://iari.res.in) under the heading News> Contractual Jobs> View Results.
