An online interview is scheduled on 07.06.2024 at ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Digha, West Bengal, for the recruitment of one Young Professional-I under the NICRA project. Graduates in Fisheries Science, Marine Science, or Marine Biology are eligible, with a preference for those with a Master's degree.
Experience in climate change research, fishery data analysis, and scientific publications are desirable. The position involves fishery and environmental data collection, laboratory and field experiments, and marine plankton sampling. It's a one-year contract with a monthly salary of Rs. 30,000, based at the Digha Regional Station. Applicants must submit scanned copies of certificates by 30.05.2024, and shortlisted candidates will be notified by email.
Terms include no TA/DA, declaration of relatives working at ICAR-CMFRI, and submission of a No Objection Certificate if currently employed. Final decisions rest with the Director, and candidates with CGPA/OGPA marks must provide conversion tables. The position doesn't guarantee regular employment beyond the project's duration.

Qualifications Details for ICAR-CMFRI Recruitment 2024
- Graduates in Fisheries Science/ Marine Science/ Marine Biology
- Master degree in Fisheries Science/ Marine Science/ Marine Biology
- Relevant experience in the majority of the following fields (Attach relevant proof)
- Experience in Climate change related research/ fishery data analysis/ statistical modeling/ oceanographic sampling/ handling of oceanographic equipment.
- Experience in identification of marine plankton/mangrove/water and sediment quality analysis.
- Scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals

- All the candidates are required compulsorily to furnish the declaration as detailed duly signed and submit on or before 30 May, 2024.
