HPTU has started the Round 1 counselling for HPCET 2024 based on JEE Main results on July 25, 2024. The counselling is being conducted in offline mode at the HPTU Harmipur Campus. Candidates are required to attend as per the schedule and bring all relevant documents. Admission will be offered to 50% of seats based on JEE Main scores and the remaining 50% based on the HP common entrance test. If any seats are left vacant, admissions will be based on 10+2 scores. The HPCET counselling 2024 is organized in two rounds for different categories. The counselling process includes registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the institute.

HPCET 2024 Counselling: Round 1 Schedule

HPCET 2024 counselling procedure involves the following steps:

1. Registration: Candidates must first register for the counselling process by visiting the official HPTU counselling portal. They need to provide their personal and academic details as required.

2. Document Verification: After registration, candidates must report to the HPTU Harmipur Campus or designated verification centers with all necessary documents for verification. Documents typically include admit cards, mark sheets, certificates, and identity proof.

3. Choice Filling: Once documents are verified, candidates will be required to fill out their preferred choices of courses and institutes based on their eligibility and preferences.

4. Seat Allotment: Based on the choices filled, merit, and availability of seats, candidates will be allocated seats. The seat allotment will be communicated to candidates through the official portal or during the counselling session.

5. Reporting to the Institute: Finally, candidates who are allotted seats must report to the respective institute within the stipulated time frame to complete the admission process. They will need to submit the required documents and pay any necessary fees.

• Passing certificate of qualifying examination

• Marks-sheet issued by the Board/University

• JEE Main 2024

• Matriculation/Higher Secondary Part-I/Indian School Certificates (containing date of birth)

• Character Certificate from the Head of Institution last attended

• Bonafide/Domicile Certificate issued by Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Executive Magistrate (if applicable)

• Bonafide/domicile Certificate issued by the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate Executive Magistrate (candidates of Himachal Pradesh)

• Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)

• Physically Challenged Certificate (if applicable)

• Income Certificate (if applied under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme)

• An affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate (if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme)

• Domicile Certificate by Kashmiri Migrants
